Well, we refuse to let COVID 19 or any distraction keep us from our chosen mission to send packages to our service member serving in harms way. The Senior Services of Central Illinois gave us the items collected by area schools as a part of their Santa for Soldiers program. Their contribution of supplies and stockings coupled with the donations from our volunteers enabled our group to pack and mail 45 boxes, to 9 different Service members service in dangerous places around the globe. We included 3-4 stockings in each box for a total stocking count of 150+ stockings.
Thank you all for the support and participation in our program. We were able to use the TRN club for this months mailing, and hope to do so again on January 19th at 6:00 p.m.
Please send us names and addresses for Soldiers you know of who are deployed in dangerous places, or on board ships at sea.
