February 2019 Mailing

February's mailing was another very successful evening. We were able to pack up 28 boxes to mail to 7 different men/ women serving our Country over seas in harms way.
Girl Scout troop 6927 also attended this mailing. They said that they had such a good time last month, that they wanted to come back again to help us ! Thank you for your support. It's great to see such young girls getting involved in such a worthy cause.

NOW the question is WTH the USPS is doing? Three of our volunteers each had a different story to tell of their experience taking the packages to the post office with this new form that we were told we had to use.
I'm planning on going to at least two different post offices to see if we can't get instructions on which from to use, how to properly fill out the form etc. (Every year it's something different) One post office had never seen or heard of this new form that we were told to use. Hmmmmm

We're no longer getting a $2.00 discount from the post office when mailing a APO AE package, they have also changed that to $1.50 discount.........(very considerate to our Troops)
