Our packing of goodies will be held again at the TRN Lake Club on August 16, 2016. We meet at 6:00 p.m. This month Lorie Brown says it 'picnic' time for our pot luck dinner.........Should be great, we've got fried chicken coming, along with potato salad, cucumber & onion salad, baked beans and lots more goodies.
In the past few weeks I've been given new names of military personnel to mail to. Last month, we were able to mail 24 boxes to 5 different men and women serving our Country. I'd like to be able to mail another 24 boxes this month, but we need donations. So, I'm reaching out to whom ever is reading this - if you can donate any kinds of goodies or even donate a dollar or two to cover the postal cost, that would be fantastic.
If you have contacts with some of our local stores that might be interested in donating goodies, please share with them 'what we do' etc.
