Springfield Cares Soldier mailing is moving back to Blue Ridge for a few months with the next mailing on 8/25. The project was blessed with a pay it forward grant from WICS channel 20, and Davis Financial Services. 

The TV featured a video report of our recent packing at the TRN club, with many kind words from the station and sponsor, we also got their $ 500.00 pay it forward grant. This week we were featured on the WFMB remote broadcast from S&K Buick GMC where they decided to collect items for the mailings though the 15 th of August.

And the soon to open, or recently opened Pizza Ranch on South 6 th strewn, has also decided to be a collection point for donations to the cause, all in all a very rewarding month with many volunteers, good fellowship, and most importantly packages to ship to our heroes serving overseas.

Join us if you can on 8/25 at 6:00PM at the BRC, or drop off material to send. If you know of service personnel serving abroad I harms way, please provide us their name and mailing information so that we can include them in our project. Remember Freedom is not Free! Help us give back if you can.
